Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a neurotoxin protein that inhibits the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction. This will temporarily reduce muscle contraction and smooth wrinkles at the injection site. Botulinum Toxin Type A comes from a specific toxin present in a bacteria known as Clostridium botulinum.
Uses include skin aging, sagging skin, crow's feet, excessive sweating, frown lines, and wrinkles.
Your Botox should last between 3-4 months if dosed appropriately.
Dermal filler is a naturally occurring hyaluronic acid in our body that helps retain moisture.
Filler is HA (hyaluronic acid), while a lip flip is the neurotoxin Botox. Lip flips can offer far more subtle results then filler. Botox is used to inject the orbicularis oris muscle to relax the upper lip causing a small flip effect creating a beautifully enhanced pout. While filler is a gel-like hyaluronic acid substance that is injected directly into the lips and vermilion border to create a more voluminous and plumping affect.
Yes. Topical anesthesia is included for lip filler and will be applied 15-20 minutes prior to injections.

SkinMedica Vitalize Peel is one of the most popular chemical peels available because it is more gentle on the skin then traditional chemical peels. Comprised of Alpha-Hydroxy Acid, Bety-Hydroxy Acid, Resorcinol Acid, and Retinoic Acid, the Vitalize Peel provides a unique mix of ingredients that is a powerful yet non-damaging peel that can take years off aging skin. This is the perfect peel for patients with mild to moderate skin conditions including fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, pigment irregularities, and acne. This peel helps provide vibrant, radiant looking skin with minimal downtime. The Vitalize Peel diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and addresses uneven skin tone that can be caused by acne scarring or other pigmentary changes. Appropriate for mild to moderate skin imperfections as determined by your physician.
SkinMedica Rejuvenize Peel is our strongest peel. Comprised of Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Resorcinol, Panthenol, and Isoceteth-20, followed by a Retinol Solution, the peel penetrates deep into the epidermis, produces the most exfoliation, and can substantially improve the appearance of the skin. This advanced formulation of peeling agents, with a built-in anti-irritant and penetration enhancer provides controlled exfoliation of the uppermost damaged layers of the skin to reveal fresher and healthier skin. Smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with this peel. See noticeable improvement after just one peel and compelling results after three to six peels.
SkinMedica Illuminize Peel is a non-invasive, very superficial chemical peel from SkinMedica that increases skin glow and radiance. It utilizes a novel approach to chemical peeling with a newer generation of alpha-hydroxy acids (mandelic acid and malic acid) in combination with phytic acid and commonly used peeling agents (salicylic acid and resorcinol) to maximize skin rejuvenating effects with low irritation. This peel helps provide vibrant, radiant looking skin with minimal downtime. Appropriate for mild skin imperfections as determined by your physician.

Double R Beauty Bar provides a self application process to comply with Board of Dentistry rules and regulations. In the state of Tennessee, only registered dental professionals can apply teeth whitening formulas. Above all, the patient is able to apply the solution knowing they are receiving quality supplies for overall comfort and the best experience possible.
Cosmetic teeth whitening uses peroxide to gently remove stains from the tooth's enamel. This is a highly concentrated form that is much stronger than what you can get at the local drugstore. The whitening solution is applied as a gel to the teeth and LED lights are used to speed up the chemical reaction in the solution for faster, better results.
The whitening treatment will only work on real teeth. It will not whiten caps, fillings, fake teeth, or teeth with braces.
Double R Beauty Bar maintains the highest standards of infection control. The teeth whitening treatment does not work on plaque or debris buildup. You must have had a professional dental cleaning within the past 3-6 months.
Sensitivity can be one of the side effects of teeth whitening, this is where the 30 minute session is recommended. If you are able to tolerate this, then you can always book again for the same duration or longer.
Just like our skin, our teeth have pores. Your teeth will absorb colors into those pores causing discoloration. Discoloration can be caused by, but is not limited to, smoking, red wine, coffee, soft drinks, tea, etc..
Depending on your daily lifestyle habits, your teeth whitening treatment can last for several months. It is normal for teeth color to regress overtime, but it can be accelerated by exposing your teeth to various staining agents.
